Evangelicals Examine Amnesty for "Strangers"

The word "eisegesis" means to approach a biblical text with the intention of forcing it to conform to one's prior preconception. An example is when Jesus said to "turn the other cheek" and modern pacifists say that it is a blanket prohibition against violence for any reason.
