Leak - Verizon Nokia Lumia 929 hands on video and new photo

Posted: 26 Oct 2013 06:08 PM PDT

Nokia World has come and gone but that doesn't mean the Finnish company doesn't have more devices up their sleeves. One of those is the Lumia 929, a custom phone for Verizon that is due to land any time between now and Q1. Not much is known about the Lumia 929 except that it is probably a 5-inch 1080P device running a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and a 20 MP rear PureView camera.

Now, a leaker in the Windows Phone Central forums who goes by the name of 'Falorin' has posted a new photo and even a hands on vide with the mystery device.

Cut the Rope: Experiments

Not sure as to the "why" or "when" but the Windows Phone Xbox gaming title Cut the Rope: Experiments is now free for the taking.

Experiment is a sequel to the Xbox game Cut the Rope where you must keep the little green monster Om Nom fed with candy. The puzzle game has over 150 levels of play that has you navigating your candy drops through various lab experiments.

The Cut the Rope series is an entertaining, mildly addictive game for your Windows Phone that is well suited for short gaming periods as well as longer marathon sessions.

An Alien with a Magnet

An Alien with a Magnet is a new Windows Phone 8 game that is being touted as a new gaming genre, the AAPARP. Which is short for Action/Arcade/Puzzle/Adventure/Rotating-Platformer.

I'm not too sure about the new genre but An Alien with a Magnet is a fun, challenging, graphically appealing game for your Windows Phone 8 device. You are tasked with guiding your alien through a maze of planets, collecting prizes and avoiding dangers such as black holes and asteroids.

With over forty-five gaming levels, An Alien with a Magnet has plenty of gaming and a welcome addition to the Windows Phone gaming library.

Bright Weather

Bright Weather is a visually appealing Windows Phone 8 weather app that delivers everything from the current weather conditions to a five day forecast to moon phases to your Windows Phone.

Bright Weather was updated the other day to bring a handful of new features to the party that includes lockscreen support and a free trial mode.  We were rather impressed with the Windows Phone 8 weather app and the updated version simply adds to Bright Weather's appeal.
