Vedanta Resources PLC (OTC: VDNRF) posted a loss in the first half of the year.

Vedanta posted a loss of $217 million, versus a year-ago profit of $174 million. Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization dropped to $2.21 billion.

Vedanta also raised its interim dividend by 5% to $0.22 per share.

Iliad SA (OTC: ILIAF) reported a 15% gain in its Q3 sales.

Iliad's quarterly revenue surged to 944.2 million euros, versus EUR819 million, in the year-ago period.

Its mobile revenue gained 35%, while fixed-line services revenue jumped 7.2%.

Hennes & Mauritz AB (OTC: HNNMY) reported a 1% rise in its same-store sales in October.

Analysts were expecting same-store sales to increase 3% in the month. Its total sales surged 11% y/y in October, versus analysts' expectations for a 12.4% gain.

Hennes & Mauritz shares closed at $8.07 yesterday.

Vivendi SA (OTC: VIVHY) reported a drop in its third-quarter net profit.

Vivendi's quarterly net income fell to 376 million euros ($506 million), or 28 cents a share, from a year-ago profit of EUR493 million, or 38 cents a share.

Its sdjusted earnings before interest and taxes declined 23% to EUR730 million from EUR948 million, while revenue rose
