Lenovo Group (OTC: LNVGY) reported a 36% rise in its net profit for the fiscal second quarter.

Lenovo's quarterly net profit surged to $219.7 million, from a year-ago profit of $162.1 million. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of $201 million.

Its revenue climbed 13% to $9.77 billion from $8.67 billion.

Adidas AG (OTC: ADDYY) posted an 8.1% drop in its third-quarter net profit.
