With Nokia World only just finishing in Abu Dhabi - The Nokia India website already has the Lumia 1520 and the Asha series listed as coming soon. No dates are given, although by selecting the device you will be able to register your interest by submitting your email address for further updates. 

Believe it or not the Windows Phone Update 3 (also known as GDR3) is being pushed out to the Sprint HTC 8XT.

We were skeptical at first but in checking Sprint's Support Site for the 8XT, the update is listed as clear as day. Update version 2.12.651.02 is described as containing streaming audio improvements, accessibility improvements and Microsoft's GDR3 release.

Dell has really been stepping up the design of their machines, which has certainly brightened our view of the company's future, along with the future appeal of Windows. Today, Dell has announced a brand new Prevision workstation – and wow, it is beautiful.

The new Dell Precision M3800 is a 15-inch workstation with an ultra-high 3200 x 1800 multitouch display and a thin 0.7 Inch form factor. The unit is composed of an aluminum frame, carbon fiber chassis, and topped off with a Gorilla Glass display.

Microsoft isn't going to let Google take control of wearable computer without a fight. The Wall Street Journal has reported that the company is testing various prototypes of "internet-connected eyewear similar to Google's Glass". Sources close to the matter had emphasized that Microsoft has the full ambition to go "head-to-head with Google, Samsung, and Apple".

Canalys analyst, Daniel Matte, stated that "technology companies can't afford to wait" and that "device vendors will face a number of tough challenges" while designing the new technology.

Attention Microsoft fans, it is officially October 22, 2013 here in the United States, and the latest generation of Surface tablets are now available for your purchasing delight. In addition, all new Surface accessories are also available including the refined Touch Cover 2 and Type Cover 2. The questions many are asking, are of course "should I pick one up for the first time?" and "should I replace my current Surface device with the Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2?"..

Nokia's next update, titled "Lumia Black" (Bittersweet Shimmer) is set to bring yet more features to the table. If you're a fan of the Glance screen, this will be an update for you. Destined to ship in the coming weeks, Lumia Black will improve the Glance feature, a screen that becomes active when the Windows Phone is in standby mode. The improvements will include background support, more colours and support for more notifications.

While the Windows Phone spotlight is still burning brightly at Nokia World, Microsoft's latest Store Grand Opening is drawing a bit of attention as well.

This morning hundreds of Microsoft customers lined up for the Grand Opening celebration at the Millennia Mall in Orlando, Florida. The Store opened this morning to the cheers of many with complimentary tickets to a Pitbull concert being handed out to 1,600 customers. The first one hundred received tickets to the after-concert party as well.

If you are gearing up for the launch of the latest Forza game for Xbox One, Motorsport 5, then you are also most likely familiar with witty Top Gear host, Jeremy Clarkson. The hit racing game will feature in game commentary by the show's hosts including Jeremy Clarkson, James may, and Richard Hammond.

How does a team of talented personnel come up with a revamped UI? You'd imagine there'd be planning, special software and other techniques involved. But what if you could actually create a mobile UI in a word processor? That's exactly what Vaclav Krejci has managed to achieve, by reproducing the iOS 7 Home screen in Microsoft Word. You have to see it to believe it.

Those of you who reside in the US and have your eyes glued to the screen to figure out where they will be able to purchase the Lumia 1520 will be able to blink now. AT&T has officially announced the company will be the exclusive carrier of the Windows Phone. Already rocking AT&T's 4G network? Good stuff, you're all set for a 6-inch Windows Phone experience.

File this under the coolest thing we've seen today: Nokia Beamer.

Beamer is Nokia's upcoming app that takes its lead from PhotoBeamer, an app currently available to Lumia owners. PhotoBeamer allows you to create a QR code to share photos with other devices. Nokia Beamer goes further and lets you mirror your Lumia's display.

Nokia World 2013 has been a whirlwind of announcements, one of which was Nokia's new Storyteller app. Available in both Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 form on the newly announced Lumia devices, Storyteller takes all your photos and organises them for you automatically, using HERE maps data to categorise them. It'll even try to select the best photographs for you, trying to eliminate those blurry shots no-one wants to see.

Nokia World 2013 has been a roller coaster, but one that only goes up and increases in speed. We've seen a handful of devices, along with some new apps for those devices. Nokia has made HERE Maps for their Lumia 2520 and it's pretty awesome. Take a look at our quick hands-on video after the break.

One of the cool accessories Nokia announced today was the DC-50, a 2400 mAh battery (we had it wrong in the video) that also has built in Qi wireless charging.

Numerous apps and games have been announced for Windows Phone at Nokia World 2013, but there's one app in particular which is worth mentioning on its own - Xbox Video. That's right, folks. Xbox Video is coming to a Windows Phone near you. So, what's the app going to do and why should you be interested?

Nokia's Windows RT 8.1 tablet, dubbed the Lumia 2520, is getting a lot of positive feedback here at Nokia World from attendees. The high resolution, super bright display is easily one of the best we've come across and the handful of Nokia exclusive apps, including StoryTeller and HERE Maps make it a compelling purchase.

A few days ago Microsoft pulled the Windows RT 8.1 update due to startup issues that a limited number of users experienced. According to Microsoft one out of every 1,000 Surface RT 8.1 updates were experience problems that bricked the devices.

Microsoft took the issue head on and pledged to work diligently to resolve the situation.  They even released a Windows RT 8.0 recovery image to restore buggered devices.

Over the past year we've had a handful of chances to sit down with Nokia's Juha Alakarhu. He is Nokia's camera guru and is one of a handful of individuals responsible for Nokia's dominance in mobile photography. We first saw him at CES last year where we learned about the future of optical zoom on mobile cameras and saw his Frankenstein 808 PureView.

We just had a chance to sit down with him again here at Nokia World 2013. We saw Nokia's new app called Refocus, learned about RAW support for Lumia devices, and how Nokia Black is going to make your current smartphone better at pictures.

Today has been a rather hectic day with Nokia World 2013 and all. We knew it was going to be a right blast, but Nokia has unveiled much more than originally expected. If you're happy with news that the likes of Instagram and Vine are coming to the platform, boy are you in for a surprise. Turns out, there are loads more apps and games on the way too. It's a good day for the Windows Phone Store.

A first look at the Lumia 1520's 20 MP camera

This morning, Nokia finally pulled the wraps off of the Lumia 1520, a device with a massive 6-inch 1080P display. But besides the great display, the Lumia 1520 also features an outstanding PureView camera with a 20 MP sensor. In addition, the algorithms for the camera app have been improved for better noise reduction, tone mapping and oversampling when compared to older Lumias. We'll have more on that shortly in our Juha Alakarhu interview.

Well the rumors of Nokia combining its Pro Cam and Smart Cam photography apps into one package have proven to be true. Just a little while ago Nokia released its Nokia Camera App for Lumia Windows Phones.

You get the camera controls and zoom later features that Pro Cam offers along with the smart mode we've grown fond of that Smart Cam offers.

Announced today alongside the Nokia Lumia 2520 at Nokia World 2013, is this, the companion keyboard case. Nokia didn't go down the touch-cover style route with the 2520, instead opting to produce a full tactile keyboard with gesture trackpad. It's also a case, protecting the tablet front and back, and it's got some additional juice via the on-board battery, that Nokia claims is good for an extra 5 hours battery life for the tablet. And round the back, there's not one but two USB ports. 

Nokia has unveiled three new Lumia products today at Nokia World 2013. The Lumia 2520, Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 will be available in due course, but we're interested to see which one is your favourite? Fly on past the break to take part in our poll.

Line is a popular messenger app for our Windows Phone that touts over 260 million global users that span over 231 countries. Line was updated today, bumping it to version 3.0 and adds voice call support, a few new stickers and the customary bug fixes/performance enhancements.

Call support provides free voice calls for Windows Phone 8 devices only.

Along with the free voice calls, the update delivers four types of free special stickers to add a little spice to your messages. The four freebies are Moon, Brown, Cony and James.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 wasn't the only large screen Windows Phone announced today at Nokia World 2013. Also in Abu Dhabi is the Lumia 1320, with it too sporting a 6-inch display, it's a more affordable option to entering the supersize space compared against the 1520. As such, some of the specs are toned down to keep the price point attractive, but that doesn't mean this is a 'cheap' device, not at all.
