Ultimate Dynamic NavBar Given Substantial Overhaul

Back in June, we took a quick look at Ultimate Dynamic NavBar by XDA Senior Member MrBIMC. The application was originally created to solve one of the most common complaints with the on-screen navigation bars most prominently seen on Google Nexus devices. The app was created to replace the ever present on-screen navigation bar with a panel that is only visible when you want it to be.

Over the last few months, Ultimate Dynamic NavBar has evolved considerably. For starters, the responsiveness of the app’s navigation bar has been increased dramatically. Animations as well as rotation support have also been added to make the bar look and feel like the real thing. A swipe-up reveal function was also incorporated in order to make the process of summoning the navigation bar as easy as possible.

While the above features add to the app’s overall level of polish, the most significant new feature is the addition of an Xposed module to hide the default on-screen navigation keys. This is important because it removes the need to modify your build.prop in order to disable the on-screen keys. Instead, you now simply activate an Xposed module. And if anything goes wrong, you can simply deactivate the module in just a few clicks.

Just as before, this is normally a paid application. Now that the app is better than ever, users with on-screen navigation buttons looking to optimize their screen real estate would be silly to not give this a shot.
